We are located in Lower Lydbrook on the B4234 road which runs between Coleford and Ross on Wye.

From Gloucester follow the signs to the Forest of Dean, then signs for Lydbrook. The Courtfield Arms is in Lower Lydbrook,100 yards to your right when you reach the T junction by the river.

Approaching from the north through Ross on Wye, where the M50 ends, we are approximately six miles. Follow the signs for Walford (on the B4234), then keep on this road. We can then be found on the main road on your left about 3 miles past Walford.

The market towns of Coleford and Cinderfold are both approximately six miles away, and there are two other nearby sites worth visiting, Symonds Yat two miles away and Goodrich Castle, a similar distance.

For those looking for somewhere to stay in the area there are a number places available to suit every taste and budget. We are only a couple of hundred yards from the welsh bicknor youth hostel and several camping and caravan parks, but for a full list of places to stay and things to do in the area please visit www.wyevalleytourism.co.uk
